Dear Esteemed Parents,

We give gratitude to God for all he has done in the 2024/2025 academic session. This year has been remarkable in many ways. Our learners have grown academically, physically, emotionally and spiritually. During the academic year the pupils/students have also learned soft skills that are necessary for their growth such as presentation skills. We are also grateful to God for our teachers who have toiled and assisted in molding our pupils/students into better people. The School Director also joined the school permanently and fully, having resigned on 31st December, 2024 from the services of First Bank of Nigeria Ltd after 29 years of meritorious service.

Results

Our children performed very well in their examinations. JSS 3 students sat for BECE while others took their promotional examinations. Parents are encouraged to look through their children's results. They all improved in their performances and showed lots of improvement both academically and otherwise. Parents should also try to identify any area(s) that needs/need improvement. It is however very important that we congratulate the pupils/students on their achievements throughout the term. On average, each term consists of 3 months. This means that for 9 months in a year, pupils/students spend a minimum of 6 hours in school. After school they also complete their homework. The discipline and mental strength it takes to come to school week after week needs to be acknowledged and encouraged.

Educational Materials

In first term of every academic session, parents are required to procure new textbooks and notebooks for their children. Most times, children are left without books for some time and end up having to copy from their classmates. This sets them back academically and affects their self-esteem. In order to forestall this, parents are required to pay for books by August 31st 2025 so they are bought, packed and ready for their use at the beginning of the term. Due to the financial climate of Nigeria, books will only be made available after full payment.

School Bus

We are pleased to announce the resumption of school bus services in first term. Interested parents are to enquire and reserve spaces for these services.

Long vacation / Resumption

During the holidays, we implore parents to ensure their children are being watched by competent adults. A lot of new behaviours both good and bad are observed after long vacation when children mix up with others. Screen time and TV time should be monitored to ensure children are not watching what is not meant for them. Visitation to friends' houses should also be adequately monitored as the days are evil. School resumes on Monday the 15th of September, 2025 and learning starts on the first day of school.

Summer Lessons

Lessons will begin on Monday the 4th of August and end 29th of August 2025. The main focus will be English, Science and Mathematics. Extra-curricular activities will be held daily in order to impact the students with skills they can use beyond their student days. Time: 9am – 1pm from Monday to Friday.

We wish our children a very happy holiday and enjoin you, our dear parents, to give them a worthwhile experience of the period.
